BRIDGE Project
Endline Evaluation of the BRIDGE Project – Sierra Leone Red Cross Society (SLRCS):
IFA served as the national evaluation partner for the BRIDGE (Building Resilient and Inclusive Development through Gender Equity) project. This assignment involved extensive fieldwork across six districts, using mixed methods (household surveys, FGDs, and KIIs) to assess project impact on community resilience, gender equality, and social inclusion. The evaluation reached over 1,000 respondents and produced actionable insights that informed the final learning outcomes and donor reporting for SLRCS and Iceland Red Cross
The data collection project covered six districts such as Moyamba, Bo, Kenema, Pujehun, Kono, and Bonthe with over 5000 respondents.
Right to Be a Child
Endline Assessment for the “Right to be a Child” Project – Save the Children SL
Commissioned by Save the Children, IFA conducted the endline study of this child rights and protection program in hard-to-reach areas of Pujehun District. The study used a gender and child-sensitive approach, combining FGDs with children, parents, teachers, and local leaders, along with structured KIIs. The findings highlighted key improvements in community awareness and child protection mechanisms, while also identifying sustainability gaps and recommendations for scale-up and policy alignment.
This project covers the Pujehun district with 10 communities mixed with riverine and mainland, such as Pujehun town, Blama Massaquoi, Sorbeh Grima, Messima, Saama, etc.

Learning Assessment
What Works Hub (WWH) Global Education Project – Laterite Sierra Leone
Under a consultancy with Laterite, IFA’s senior team member served as Field Coordinator for Sierra Leone on the global “What Works Hub” education initiative, a UK FCDO-funded evidence-generation platform. The assignment included recruitment and training of enumerators, school-level assessments, stakeholder interviews, and close collaboration with government partners. The project aimed to generate policy-relevant evidence on effective education interventions, with a focus on quality, equity, and learning outcomes across low- and middle-income countries.
This project covers nationwide, and we worked directly with Laterite Sierra Leone.

This section highlights the strategic value of the partnership between Information For All (IFA) and Vash Impact Group (VIG), a UK-based International Research Firm:
As an international partner based in the UK, Vash Impact Group (VIG) brings significant value to IFA’s data collection and analysis work in Sierra Leone. Their global expertise enhances the quality, credibility, and methodological rigor of our research processes. VIG provides technical guidance in survey design, sampling, and advanced data analysis, ensuring our work meets international standards.
Additionally, VIG supports IFA with capacity building, offering tools, templates, and training that strengthen our local team’s skills in digital data collection, statistical analysis, and ethical research practices. Their involvement also boosts stakeholder confidence and allows us to align our findings with global best practices, making our data more actionable for both national and international audiences.
The partnership between Information For All (IFA) and Vash Impact Group (VIG) is built on shared values of inclusive development, data-driven decision-making, and community empowerment. This collaboration fosters mutual benefit by combining IFA’s deep local knowledge, field presence, and community trust with VIG’s international expertise in research design, data quality assurance, and global development standards.
For IFA, the partnership enhances our technical capacity, credibility, and access to innovative tools and methodologies. For VIG, the collaboration offers valuable on-the-ground insights, cultural context, and reliable local implementation, allowing them to expand their footprint and impact in West Africa.
Together, we produce high-quality, actionable data that informs policies and programs across sectors such as education, health, youth development, and gender equality. This joint effort directly contributes to sustainable development in Sierra Leone by enabling evidence-based planning, empowering communities, and promoting transparency and accountability in service delivery.
The partnership between Information For All (IFA) and Vash Impact Group (VIG) plays a vital role in promoting youth employment in Sierra Leone by creating direct and indirect opportunities through field research and data collection. As VIG’s local implementation partner, IFA serves as the lead data collection agency, responsible for recruiting, training, and deploying young enumerators and field researchers across the country.
Through this collaboration, IFA equips young people with marketable skills in digital data collection, research ethics, survey design, and analysis tools, enhancing their employability within the development and research sectors. Each project implemented under this partnership provides temporary and project-based employment for youth, particularly in rural and underserved communities, helping to reduce unemployment and stimulate local economies.
Moreover, by maintaining high standards in data quality and ethical research, the partnership contributes to evidence-based programming for VIG’s clients—many of whom focus on youth development, education, and employment—thereby reinforcing a cycle of youth engagement and empowerment at all stages of the project lifecycle.
