Our Work in Public Health

The Information For All (IFA), we recognize that youth empowerment, gender equity, and sustainable livelihoods are deeply interconnected pillars of inclusive development. As a research-driven organization, we support our partners with high-quality, context-specific data and analysis to inform programming, policy design, and advocacy in these critical areas.

 Youth

  • Access to education, skills training, and employment opportunities
  • Barriers to entrepreneurship and informal sector participation
  • Civic engagement and decision-making inclusion
  • Risk factors: unemployment, migration, violence, and exploitation

Gender

  • Gender-based violence (GBV), harmful practices (e.g., FGM, child marriage)
  • Access to SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights) services
  • Gender roles and decision-making within households and communities
  • Women’s economic empowerment and leadership representation

Livelihoods

  • Income-generating activities among youth and women (formal and informal)
  • Access to financial services (loans, mobile money, savings groups)
  • Resilience of livelihood systems (agriculture, trade, petty business)
  • Impact of environmental and social shocks on income and employment
